About me

I discovered yoga in 1998 while recovering from an automobile accident. I needed to heal my body and my spirit and find my breath. I will never forget my first yoga class and how I felt after, my mind quiet and my body alive again. 

 

Yoga translates to “union” and I finally felt united in my mind, body and spirit. I began practicing regularly, and could chart the progress I was making on my mat and in my life. I completed my first teacher training in 2009. My teacher nudged me to work through my fear and cover her coveted Saturday morning class. That moment changed my life. Yoga gifted me confidence and courage. I am forever grateful.

 

My teaching style incorporates clear cues coupled with smart sequencing and plenty of support for practitioners at all levels. I infuse my passion for alignment as well as my love of life (and music) into every class. By focusing on the breath, we are able to quiet our mind and be more present - helping us connect with our strength and sweetness both on and off our mat.
